Submission

THE NIGERIA REVIEW requires adventurous and daring reviews that will attract critical readership, worldwide. Send in your review once the call is placed.

The genres are: poetry, prose, play, teen authorship, children’s literature, indigenous literature, creative non-fiction, books from international scene, critical essay, interview, biography or memoir, and review of any genre not listed here. 

We pay a token amount for solicited reviews as well as brilliantly written unsolicited ones. 

The review being submitted must be an UNPUBLISHED one which is exclusively for the THE NIGERIA REVIEW. It should be between 800-1000 words.

Also, we welcome UNPUBLISHED critical essays in any of the genres listed above. We shall publish one critical essay in each genre, every month.

A reviewer is at liberty to choose any book of his choice. However, he/she must notify the editor of his/her choice within two days of the call to submit, to avoid duplication. Reviews on recent books will attract immediate attention of the publishers. 

Send your review along with a 5-line profile of yours, a studio-shot portrait and a clean shot of the cover of the book.

We donot like reviews that are highly patronising.
